Friends Don't Let Friends Drink and Blog
You know what we need, enterprising web designers? We need software that can lock your blog for a period of 12 hours or so, preventing you from making updates in that period.
I'm tired of waking up in the morning and having to check whether I said something stupid late the night before, fueled by mild depression and half a dozen pints of lager. As it stands, far more people are probably concerned about my psychological well-being than need be. Really, I'm just a broody drunk.
Whatever the system is, it doesn't need to be foolproof; if I'm sober enough to figure out how to circumvent it, I'm probably sober enough to take responsibility for what I write. It's like a built-in breathalyzer.
You're welcome.

I know I've seen a script, either on ScriptyGoddess or the MT support forums that will let you specify a future date before which the post won't appear.
My own solution has been to leave the entry in Word or my text editor until I get up in the morning.
I got an idea Mike, make the process of starting your computer really hard, like maybe make it a series of like 40 buttons that you have to presss at the right squence or better yet have a game like tetris start when your comp does and have it so the only way you can log on is if you get at least 300 lines or something! Actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea maybe I'll try and program the script!
