Come On Down

So Matt and I did indeed try our luck at The Big Quiz Thing last night, and we did indeed come in dead last. Still not terribly on points, though, which was inspiring given that we were the smallest team in the place and were also, shall we say, at a cultural disadvantage amongst all the hipster kids with the wacky glasses.

High point of the evening: the Price Is Right round, in which we had to guess the prices of common household products within a certain range without going over. The crowd's favorite was the Louisiana Purchase. "Without it, we wouldn't have Iowa!" (We put the decimal point in the wrong place. Feh.)
