Long live...
Farewell to Tin Man.
Comments are turned off on Jeff's last post, so I offer this in open company: don't write off the medium completely, honey. You never found a way to blog that worked for you, but I don't find that to be a serious indictment of blogging in general.
If you don't offer this particular muse access to every inch of your psyche, it won't demand it. I'm sad that you never really considered devoting most of your blogging energy to the less emotional aspects of your life, choosing instead to live a very big chunk of your life out in the open. It made for some very compelling reading...and it wore you down in little more than a year. After the same space of time, I find doing this more fun and more helpful than ever before.
Ah well. Rejoin the non-blogging majority, and we'll catch up in other ways.

I feel sad. Isn't that strange? It's like when I was little and I read To Kill a Mockingbird. I felt like I really knew the characters and when it was over, I wanted it to keep going. Sad like that.
I agree, David! I'm going to miss the Tin Man. Lots.
