In Silicon Valley, Millionaires Who Don't Feel Rich - New York Times

Is this a fucking joke? A front-page story about the plight of the people who aren't quite as rich as they want to be?

Rupert, go for the Times next. It's at least as worthless as the Journal.

They don't want to keep working, they HAVE to! To keep up payments on the house and what not.

It's like when I thinK I want to be thin, and then I see someone who is really really thin, and they look gross. Totally turns me off the idea. I'll be glad with what I have, thanks.

I don't have quite the same take on it; I think this is an important, zeitgeisty issue. It seemed to me that the NYT is, properly, marveling at how someone with a 7-figure salary could perceive themselves as middle-class or even disadvantaged. To hear these guys talk, it almost sounds like Chief Justice Roberts has a point when he claims his paltry $212,000 annual salary is a "constitutional crisis." Pfft, silly me. Here I've been looking for a job telilng people my salary requirement based on what I need to eat and have a little left over for vodka and shoes.
