Get Meta With Me

So here's the deal: I'm not taking this site down, in part because I'd just as soon keep public records of my thoughts, in part because I need site e-mail anyway, in part because I'm one stubborn bastard.

Thinking of relaunching in some vaguely different format, though. I've got Twitter, Facebook and LJ for the most petty observations, but I'm increasingly convinced that very few people need dedicated personal blogs anymore. Really, what's the point? I like seeing little updates about people's lives streamed into a single feed, but how many of us are regularly capable of general-interest commentary that deserves special attention? Not me, that's for sure.

So what might I launch on the ashes of this site? I don't know enough about politics to really make a go of that (most of my observations are regurgitations of what I've already seen elsewhere), and I don't see enough theatre for that to be a full-time subject. I know a lot about cast albums, but I've already got a site for that and it has its own dedicated blog. And professional editorial issues aren't necessarily scintillating reading material.

What do you, the reader, want me to talk about?

Turn it into a blog about your sexploits and give us all the skeezy details of your love life.

While I know the monogamously coupled would probably love to live vicariously through me, at the moment that's not a particularly fecund topic. Not even after New Orleans.
