CLIFTON PARK - Former Rep. John Sweeney had another brush with the law recently. Sweeney narrowly avoided being charged with theft of services after refusing to pay a cab fare for a ride from a strip club.

Of all of the idiots voted out in '06 (which was now two years ago, if you can believe that), Sweeney's the one who fascinates me the most, because I have no idea how anyone failed to notice the impending trainwreck for so long. His escapades are of Joe Quimby magnitude, except he's not provided with the requisite punchlines.
